Welcome to to Sons of Sawdust Custom! All of our custom furniture is built from authentic reclaimed wood that we've salvaged from old train depots, barns, and historic houses. All of the wood that we use is over 100 years old and has incredible history and character. We gather as much historical information about where the wood came from so that we can pass on the history of our wood to our customers.
Every piece of wood that we use has its own unique character and every table that we build is a “one-off” table that is truly one-of-a-kind. Our tables are conversation pieces that stand out above the typical mass produced tables you find in big box retailers.

Please keep in mind the following information for Custom Built Orders.
Project Minimum- For custom projects we have a project minimum of $4000. Custom projects are more involved in almost every step of the process. It takes more communication and admin time to manage all the details of the project, communicate those details to the team, and more time throughout the process to build custom furniture.
Design Services- We do offer design services and can provide mock ups of individual pieces before we start the build process. We charge $100/hr for design time and before we get to work on providing you a mock up we can give you an estimate of the time we think it will take. Also each design comes with (2) free revisions as long as they are within reason.
Timeline and Payment- For custom projects we require a 50% deposit paid after confirmation of the design. Our standard timeline for a custom project is 10-12 weeks depending on scope. Final payment is paid upon completion before delivery/pick up is scheduled.
